The "RUNKARA EXPO Sports and Technology Fair," which brings together technology and sports, will be held in Ankara from 6th to 8th October.

Ankara is getting ready to host two international events in October. DAZSPOR, the new address for sports events, will organize the RUNKARA - International Half Marathon and RUNKARA EXPO Sports and Technology Fair on 6th, 7th, and 8th October in Ankara. The RUNKARA EXPO will take place at ATO CONGRESIUM Congress Center, covering an area of 6,000 square meters, and will feature the participation of approximately 100 different companies, including world-renowned firms. The fair is expected to attract 25,000 visitors.
Contributing to Ankara's Economy
The "RUNKARA - International Half Marathon," the first international half marathon in Ankara featuring world-famous athletes, will host around 6,000 elite, professional, and amateur runners. The RUNKARA EXPO "Sports and Technology Fair" will be the first of its kind in Europe, bringing together sports and technology. Besides local and international runners, many companies, running groups, and global marathon organizers will participate in the Runkara International Half Marathon. The fact that the starting and finishing lines of the Runkara Half Marathon will be at Runkara Expo will facilitate the interaction between participating companies and potential customers, contributing significantly to Ankara's economy.
Runkara Half Marathon Becomes a Sports and Entertainment Festival
The Runkara Expo Sports and Technology Fair will take place at ATO Congresium from 6th to 8th October. The fair will host discussions with professional athletes and workshops where participants can engage with them. Throughout the three-day event, sponsors and participant brands will set up booths, and there will be federations and NGOs, as well as a rest area for athletes, interactive activities, and sponsor exhibitions where all participants will come together. Exciting activities for children will be available. Additionally, the technical area, considering the comfort of the runners, will be located at the Expo area, which serves as the starting and finishing point of the run.
Signing Two Significant Events of Global Interest
Victoria Blyth, the Founder of Dazspor, stated that they have brought two very important international events to Ankara and Türkiye, saying, "We will contribute to the international sports and technology culture of the capital, Ankara."
"I moved to Ankara three years ago. As a runner, I have participated in many significant running events. I noticed that the heart of Türkiye, the capital city Ankara, lacked an international event that would capture the attention of the world and contribute to the city's economy. This project started two years ago, and during this time, I brought together a team of experts in their fields and decided to organize the RUNKARA - International Half Marathon and RUNKARA EXPO Sports and Technology Fair."
Already Owning a Significant Race Label in World Athletics
The RUNKARA - International Half Marathon has been approved and awarded the ROAD RACE LABEL by World Athletics. The main factors that led to this label were the high-security measures provided in both the race and EXPO areas, as well as bringing together expert healthcare teams. DAZSPOR has fulfilled all the official requirements for the EXPO. It is listed as an official fair organizer by TOBB and included in TOBB's fair calendar.
Participants Will Experience a New Era in Sports in Ankara
RUNKARA EXPO will be very different from other fairs. Families can explore the fair while leaving their children in the children's sports area.
